In addition, she teaches classes in personal development, mindfulness, stress reduction, and the healing arts. Katharine Ardel Katharine earned her doctoral degree from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy and teaches Basic and Advanced Hypnotherapy courses. She is a Reiki Master and teacher of the Incan Tradition of Shamanic Healing, Yoga and Metaphysics. In addition, Kathie presents personal growth workshops nationally. Kathie has extensive experience working with children and teenagers. She managed a day care center and directed recreational youth programs for several years, in addition to raising her two daughters. Kathie has a strong background in social services working with high risk teens in prevention programs. She integrates guided imagery into her work with teenagers and clients.
