QUEEN: I'll warrant you, Fear me not a withdraw, I hear him coming.

HAMLET: Now, mother, what's the matter?
QUEEN: Hamlet, thou hast thy father much offended.
HAMLET: Mother, you have my father much offended.
QUEEN: Come, come, you answer with an idle tongue.
HAMLET: Go, go, you question with a wicked tongue.
QUEEN: Why, how now, Hamlet!
HAMIET: What's the matter now?
QUEEN: Have you forgot me?
HAMLET: No, by the rood, not so:
You are the queen, your husband's brother's wife;
And — would it were not so! — you are my mother.
QUEEN: Nay, then set those to you that can speak.

Soseste-indata. Doamna, se cuvine
Amarnic sa-l mustrati. Sa stie bine
Ca fapte de acestea, naravase
Nu pot mereu sa fie-ingaduite.
Ati cautat sa-i mijlociti iertarea.
M-ascund aici. Sa nu-i luati apararea!
HAMLET (DE AFARA):
 Mama, mama, mama!
REGINA:
Te bizuie pe mine... Ii voi spune.
Ascunde-te mai iute, caci soseste.
//POLONIUS SE ASCUNDE DUPA O DRAPERIE//

HAMLET:
Ce vrei cu mine, mama?
REGINA: L-ai jignit
Pe tatal, pe rege! si cumplit!
HAMLET: Pe tata l-ai jignit cumplit, o, mama!
REGINA: Nesocotit raspuns, de buna seama!
HAMLET: Raspuns rostit de-o gura otravita...
REGINA: Ce vrei sa spui?
HAMLET: Cazuta in ispita...
REGINA: Uiti cine sunt?
HAMLET: Ba catusi de putin!
Regina esti, si soata celui care
 ti-a fost cumnat... de n-ar fi fost asa
Era mai bine... Dar, esti mama mea!
REGINA: Am sa-i trimit pe altii sa-ti vorbeasca...
