The event gathered over 80 participants interested in discussing the extent to which we can still talk about post-communism, debating numerous aspects on the challenges of transition as experienced after the collapse of communism and the dissolution of USSR. With 35 contributions written by young researchers from Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovenia, Canada and France, the aim of this book is to provide its readers with the latest research trends in the field of Political Science, as well as with a comprehensive analysis of the implications the process of transition continues to have to this day in many post-communist countries.
