Campers, Ceilidhs and Occasional Cramp
Descriere
Stephen Anderson sets off to look for a new home in the Scottish Highlands after enduring a busy and stressful working life in the south of England. The adventures which were to greet him on two reconnaissance trips to Scotland are revealed in this book. The driving factor was to search Scotland to discover, preferably, the nicer bits with a view to moving north. Stephen grew up in Edinburgh and Fife, so there was an element of 'coming home' involved in the search for a new location and a new life. It was the West Coast and the Highlands which had the greatest allure, which is why the bulk of the journey was around those places. The book describes one or two unplanned 'off piste' diversions, but is that not the essence of adventure?
