Old friends and Test Match Special colleagues, Henry Blofeld and Peter Baxter had many outrageous tales of life in and around the radio cricket commentary boxes of the world. So in 2012, the two embarked on a tour that saw them take their hilarious stories onto the stage in a two-man show.Peter Baxter joined the BBC in 1965 in Radio Outside Broadcasts and took over as producer of Test Match Special in 1973, a role he held until his retirement in 2007. He produced the programme in all the then Test cricket playing countries, also commentating himself on around 40 Tests. Peter is based in North Bucks.
