Irina Dumitrescu looks deeper into the artistry of the form, with the caveat that “writing about dance can be like painting a meal: it leaves one with more questions than answers”.She argues, though, that “dance is embedded in a network of relationships”, especially with the audience, themselves often moving their bodies in time with the music.
