About the Author Randy Moore is H. T. Morse Distinguished Professor at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. He is a member of several professional societies at the Grand Canyon, including the Grand Canyon Historical Society. Kara Felicia Witt is a psychologist, researcher, and writer who has studied the Grand Canyon for many years. She has worked at Grand Canyon sites, ranging from Supai and Phantom Ranch to sites along both rims.
