She absolutely refused to accept the prognosis given to her by the medical staff at the most prestigious military hospital anywhere. She and her faith prevailed. The story continues with details of other medical trials during his limited physical recovery, but astonishingly, he was blessed with a total intellectual recovery. This ability allows him to be an inspiration to others via his communication skills and mere presence. Coincidences beyond imagination played an integral part in the soldier's life - from meeting his Angelic wife to other extraordinarily important events. Additional true stories in the book are also heartwarming, interesting, and well worth reading. The book contains some historical information about the era of Vietnam as well.
