He is a producer, writer, editor, poet and public speaker, He is currently planning a major State of the art African American museum in Atlanta. Phyllis Zachery-Thomas is the founder of SCD Soldier Network in Fayetteville, GA. As a person living with sickle cell disease she understands the difficulties involved with maintaining an acceptable quality of life. She wrote the lyrics to the SCD Soldier Anthem and uses it to ignite the hearts of those interested in bringing more awareness to the blood disorder. This is her debut as an author.
