Salvestrols: Journeys to Wellness, Paperback/Brian Schaefer

Many people have adopted dietary change and Salvestrols as a means of addressing dietary deficiency after receiving a diagnosis of cancer. We have had the opportunity to work closely with a number of these people to put together case studies. These case studies cover a wide cross section of cancers: anal; bladder; breast; colon; leukaemia; liver; lung; lymphoma; melanoma; peritoneal; and prostate. They represent the situations of people from a number of different countries: Canada; England; Korea; New Zealand; South Africa; and the United States. Obviously both males and females are involved and they represent a cross-section of ages from 36 to 94. All of these people achieved remission. Over the last year I have been conducting a follow up on these people to determine how they have got on after achieving remission. To begin I will go through each of their situations as they worked through to remission. I will then go through the data obtained through follow up to highlight the lessons learned. About the Author: The author was educated in Victoria, B. C., Canada and Oxford, England, obtained a B. Sc., and M. Sc., degree from the University of Victoria and a Doctor of Philosophy (D. Phil.) degree from Oxford University in England (Wolfson College). After these studies were completed he chose to return to Canada. After two years as a research fellow in Ottawa he returned to Victoria to pursue research in the private sector. He currently lives in Victoria with his wife and his two children. A fondness for England continues and he returns to England on a regular basis. He has published and lectured on a broad array of topics including psychometrics, pattern recognition, visual perception, knowledge acquisition, artificial intelligence, laboratory medicine, and cancer research.
