Description Growing up in Colombo, Sri Lanka and to the family I was born into leaves me feeling eternally blessed and loved. Grandparents are a precious gem but Grandmothers always make a house a home and they unite us all especially with their culinary skills, advice and stories. This is about the relationship I had with my maternal grandmother and about the most delicious cake she baked. To date nobody makes a better cake than she did and this is an ode to her. About the Author Sheahara Pandithage was born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka and currently resides in London. She had the concept of this book when her Grandmother passed away, due to the many wonderful memories of her childhood. Love Cake is her first debut novel and is based on the relationship she had with her Grandmother.
