Carolyn Kremers writes literary nonfiction and poetry and is a lecturer in English at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks for half the summer. Kremers is the author of Place of the Pretend People: Gifts from a Yupik Eskimo Village. She lives in Fairbanks, Alaska.
