How I became a Shammer is meant as an educational book for future soldiers who are thinking about joining the Army, the soldiers that are currently in and those that have retired. In this book, you can learn most of the strategies and techniques that has been tried for over a decade by soldiers of all ranks to help them get out of work. Although this book is educational in nature and semi fictional, it will allow soldiers to relate on a personal level and be able to find humor in the story that is told. In addition to the educational aspect of this book is that it can also serve as a foundation of knowledge for soldiers to use as they excel through their career. Everyone in the Army shams to an extent although they may not admit it. About the Author Leon Williams is a third generation soldier of the Army, following his mother and grandfather. He has served in the Army on Active Duty for 10 years as a Water Treatment Specialist, completing one 15 month tour in Iraq and 19 months in Korea. While serving in the Army, Leon Williams completed his Master's degree in General Psychology and is currently 10 pursuing his Ph D in General Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition and Instruction. In addition to this, he is a licensed real estate agent and the proud owner of his company Sham Life and Shamlife. net. Some of his awards and recognitions include the Brigade Soldier of the Quarter and Battalion NCO of the Quarter, the Sergeant Major of the Army Recruiting award and the Good Conduct Medal. He is a firm believer of selfless service and truly loves doing everything he can to help soldiers. His biggest motivation is being a role model for his children.
