A psalm is a way to focus yourself on him whether it be for worship, prayer, praise, in happiness, madness or sadness. In a psalm you can show your love, needs or struggles which may even be with trust. You don't need to be ashamed to express them to him for God knows these feelings, as he gave and shares them with you, and by going to him, he will help you to deal with them in the most perfect way. A psalm is a way to acknowledge that he is in control, his is the right way and for that I am thankful and do praise. We know that scripture is true inspired by the Spirit for all of us. So this one very important point needs to be made, there is no intent on my part, to ignore or replace, any words in his book. It is my hope and prayer this book will bring you closer to him. A psalm allows you to place your cares in his palms, see how it calms, that is why this book is called "My Psalms"
