It is interlaced with anecdotes regarding the author's comedic experiences in dating, cooking and gallivanting Additionally it includes a few lessons learned (some the hard way) with some advice on what to do and not to do. The recipes are eclectic and usually short - in number of ingredients and cooking time. The basic test for inclusion was "taste." But in addition all ingredients had to be readily available at the corner super market. A further criterion for those recipes solicited from friends, is that they had to be proven successes (However you want to interpret that ).The book was a lot of fun writing over these past three years and I hope the reader enjoys it as much as I did in writing it.
