Edited by David Platt, Daniel L. Akin, and Tony Merida, this new commentary series, projected to be 48 volumes, takes a Christ-centered approach to expositing each book of the Bible. Rather than a verse-by-verse approach, the authors have crafted chapters that explain and apply key passages in their assigned Bible books. Readers will learn to see Christ in all aspects of Scripture, and they will be encouraged by the devotional nature of each exposition. Exalting Jesus in Galatians is written by David Platt & Tony Merida. About the Author: David Platt's first love in ministry is making disciples--sharing, showing, and teaching God's Word in everyday life. He has traveled extensively to serve alongside church leaders around the world. David is the president of the International Mission Board and the founder of Radical, a resource ministry that exists to serve the church in accomplishing the mission of Christ. He is also the author of several books, Follow Me, Radical, and Radical Together and most recently Counter Culture (to be released February 2015). He is the founder of Radical (Radical. net) a resource ministry devoted to serving churches and disseminating disciple-making resources. D. in preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as associate professor of Preaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
