His research interests include military and diplomatic history, maritime history, and ancient history. Paul W. Doerr, Ph. D. , is a professor of European and British history at Acadia University in Nova Scotia. He earned his Ph. D., M. A. and B. A. degrees from the University of Waterloo. His research interests include British foreign policy, diplomatic history and the global military history of the twentieth century.
