Garrett graduated from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He specialized in studying public relations and business. In addition to writing, Garrett works as a financial advisor as head of Garrett & Robinson Investment Management & Wealth Planning. Atlanta Magazine named him a five-star wealth manager, and the Time-Georgian has named his firm best financial advisor/planner four times. Garrett lives with his wife, Ali, and their sons in Carrollton, Georgia.
