About the Author Tom Word has practiced law in Richmond, Virginia, for fifty years. He is a member of the American Law Institute and The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a past President of the Richmond Bar Association. He has served as a Trustee of The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia, the Garland and Agnes Taylor Gray Foundation and the Virginia Tech Foundation.
