The Christian Church in the western world is skilled in ministering grace for guilt. And so we should be. What does the Bible have to say about shame? And what are the practical implications of this for the life of the church and for pastoral ministry? It turns out that the grace of God is richer and deeper than we, wearing our western-culture spectacles, may have realized. Are we willing to take a second look at the Scriptures, and consider this forgotten gospel?About the Author: John Forrester and his wife Betty farmed for many years on Prince Edward Island. In 1991 John began theological studies at Regent College in Vancouver and was later called to pastoral ministry in a richly diverse multi-cultural Vancouver congregation. From 2005 to 2008 he and his wife lived and served in Turkey where they fell in love with the country and the people. On their return to Canada they settled in Toronto to resume pastoral ministry.
