Gubatan was born and educated in the Philippines as a Chemical Engineer and came to the United States to further his education. After he experienced Jesus Christ's personal and unconditional love during a traumatic deportation trial, he desired to give back to his rescuer and deliverer. After many years of Diaconal Training at the San Pedro Center, he was ordained a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Orlando by Bishop Thomas Grady. Now he is currently serving as a Deacon at St. Margaret Mary Church in Winter Park, Florida.
