Sacrificed in a supernatural ritual and resurrected a year later, he finds himself amidst a circus freak show in Mexico and learns the bonds of friendship as well as the depths of inhumanity as he tries desperately to fathom the grand cosmic forces that gather around him. About the Author Javier Hernandez is an American cartoonist and art instructor. Born in East LA, his lifelong love of storytelling and comic art resulted in his starting his own publishing imprint in 1998. Since then, he's published El Muerto, Maniac Priest, The Coma, Les Vodouisants and numerous other titles. His comics both explore and star a diverse group of heroic monsters and haunted heroes. His work has also appeared in other publications including "The Charlton Arrow," "Hey kids, Comics!," "The New Adventures of the Human Fly," "Latinos and Narrative Media," "Ghoula Comix" and "Comics Never Stop." In 2007 he served as the Associate Producer of the live action film adaptation of EL MUERTO.
