Ella Pop's book is a captivating, yet light reading, which can be thoroughly enjoyed while traveling by plane or, why not, as one lies under the shade of an umbrella on a sunny summer day by the sea shore.      The author introduces a complicated and somewhat prophetic love triangle which is also contemporary and, most of all, based on real life events; I believe the latter to be a particularly interesting feature, mainly because one rarely comes across something like that with most current novels.      Some of what is happening in the book is out of the ordinary, but on the whole, the turn of events is cursive, realistic and exciting, all the while keeping the reader avid for more. This story describes a fusion of feelings that all humans experiment, but also another range of strong, interesting sensations that are nonetheless just as human, after all. (Marius Ghenea)
Fragment din roman:       „Out of a sudden, I get my courage out of nowhere and stop thinking about who might see us together. For a while the two of us drove around town, allowing me to show him some of the interesting stuff, then we headed for Cismigiu, where we walked along the alleys holding hands and around the lake, where there were countless little boats with lovers in them. It was as if we had known each other forever. We stopped and had something to eat at one of those park restaurants, all the while staring at each other, in perfect silence... none of us wanted to break the spell by saying something.     His face was not at all common. His features combined manliness and fineness, a synthesis between male beauty and a kindness in the eyes. He never stopped complimenting me and kissing my hands, which made me melt with pleasure. At some point, the waiter interrupted, asking whether we wanted anything else. I suppose several hours had already passed, because we were the only ones left at the table. I guess the personnel wanted to close the restaurant. We decided to leave, especially because it was night time already and I was starting to feel awkward about telling him I had to get back home. But I didn't want that to happen, so I excused myself and went outside to make a phone call. I called Patrick just to make sure where he was. He didn't answer the phone even after I called him repeatedly. It was quite late, he hadn't called the whole day and now he wasn't answering my calls. Yet one more reason I should go on with my life.     I speak English with Yannis, but he does understand some Romanian as well. He tells me about what he has been doing lately. Every single detail captivates me.”
