Recovering from a broken heart, John Cesari MD embarks on a Mediterranean cruise to unwind and clear his head. His goals are to see the sights, eat a lot, and most of all to stay away from women. A chance encounter in a Venetian Bar with the lusty captain of the Croatian women's national volleyball team just before setting sail turns his plan on its head. When she tells him she is being sold into a forced marriage, he is thrust into the middle of a rollicking oceangoing adventure to rescue her. Murder on the high seas wasn't on the itinerary when he purchased his ticket, but in true Cesari fashion, he embraces his fate and dives in.
