The official story from a decade ago claims that Dax cunningly destroyed the Carteagan's greatest warship which led to humanity's victory against the humanoid bug aliens. Not everyone's buying it, though. Ten years on, the legend of Commander Harrison has swelled bigger than Dax's head through pulp stories, media campaigns, and muscly little action figures. You won't hear him complaining (though his AI sidekick, SAMM, might). Dax is counting the days until he can disappear to a beach somewhere in a haze of whiskey and Verdasian wine. But as the anniversary of the ceasefire approaches, the universe has other plans. A dangerous shadow from the past puts a wrench in Dax's easy-going existence, and he is forced to decide if he can live up to his legend.
