Partly inspired by the mysterious case of the 2016/17 UK Cat Killer, Thorne and Tanner's latest case sets out with Thorne recognising the psychological profile of an individual prone for terrible crimes behind a series of cat slayings. Thorne and Tanner have a hard time convincing others of the legitimacy of their concerns, but move to act swiftly before the hunter turns on humans.
