When Anita Naaka jumps in front of a train, her daughter NORMA, is left alone with a life-long secret: NORMAs hair is sensitive to changes of mood in her and the people around her, and at her mother's funeral it alerts her to the fact that her mother's death may not have been a suicide. While sorting through documents, she realizes her mom may have known more about NORMAs hair than she let on.
