Part of Oneworld's Creative Europe project. A Parisian surgeon returns to Syria to renew his passport and is forbidden return to Paris, energising him against the Syrian regime. Meanwhile, protester Amal and her boyfriend Youssef head out for Germany, only to find their problems are far from over. Shortlisted for the 2018 Text and Sprache.
